Sands has over 100 local groups across the UK, all run by dedicated volunteers who want to support other parents going through the devastating trauma of losing their babies. 

A team of Sands volunteers and staff from the London and East Networks are participating in this year’s 10k Walk for Peace around Newham's Docklands on Sunday 14th May to raise funds to enable Groups to continue to support bereaved families and provide resources and training for local hospitals to improve bereavement care.

The Charity Walk for Peace will match our sponsorship (up to £2000) from now until 31 Oct 2017, and all the money received will go directly to supporting our vital work.
