After the success of last year's entry in the Great River Race, UM have teamed up with Clarksons Platou, and entered two boats  in this year's race. The teams will take part in London's River Marathon, a spectacular boat race up the River Thames (21.6 miles from London Docklands to Ham in Surrey) that attracts over 300 crews from all over the Globe.

The aim is to raise funds and support the valuable  work of Seafarers UK. This is an "Umbrella" Charity which gives direct support to Seafarers and their families, and also grants to other Nautical Charities. For further information, please see www.seafarers-uk.org
