Bogle 2012 · 2 March 2012

Llanberis MRT is one of the busiest in the UK with an annual callout rate of over 220 incidents. Based in and around the Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) area the team is made up of about 50 volunteers who are all experienced mountaineers. As a registered charity we rely entirely on your donations.

Story

Hello everyone!

Once again UMHC have an official team taking part in the Bogle, even though plenty of last year's promised to never do it again! There are still enough hikers mad enough for another try and those who are blissfully unaware of what they are about to go through...

The Bogle is a 55 mile walk through the whole of Manchester starting on Friday 2nd March and lasting around 24 hours. Simply put - by the end we will have sore feet!

We are raising money for Mountain Rescue who put in an awful lot of work picking up those people who fall off mountains, so please support us and donate :)

Our team is...

Olivia Boston-Smith
Sally Cawood
Philip Chandler
Rory Clark
