Join us for our virtual bake-off competition to be judged on the 19th of November by the AMR committee! Prizes will be available for the best bakes! We are running this event with the aim of raising awareness of Antibiotic Resistance, a really important and under-recognised issue. The week of the 19th of November is Antibiotic Awareness Week so we thought - What better week to run our event! Although we are not charging an entry fee we do ask that everyone wanting to participate could donate a few pounds to Antibiotic Research UK, a charity really close to our hearts who are working endlessly to help combat the problem of antibiotic resistance development through countless research projects as well as events to help raise awareness. Please have your cakes/pies or whatever exciting bakes you decide to make for the 19th of November, we hope to announce a series of rounds in the next few days so keep your eyes peeled but, please make them as Antibiotic Resistance related as possible, the more elaborate the better! We're going to judge them via Zoom and the link will be made available soon and to make sure we know who is getting involved we do ask that when you donate you add your name and email so we know who is taking part and so we can send info regarding prizes, the time of the competition and the zoom link to!
