Donate a wheelchair via the Wheels to Heal initiative.

Ucare, working with Wheels to Heal are aiming to send approximately 375 wheelchairs to Pakistan in the first instance. Rescued chairs will leave their UK destination for those whom desperately need them overseas.

In 2016 Ucare piloted this project successfully on a smaller scale and found that there is a huge need for mobility for the disabled, ill, and elderly in rural Pakistan and beyond. A number of individual and families were helped. Pakistan has approximately 13 million person that fall into the category of requiring mobility aids. In under developed countries like Pakistan, only 5-10% of this number have access or are able to afford such products - so please donate generously.

It costs only £25 to rescue one wheelchair and allow it to be put to use for the less abled within rural areas of Pakistan. Ucare is currently developing a database of end users to maximise your generous donation. Wheelchairs will also be used directly in Ucare hospitals in Rajana and Chichawatni to help the sick, vulnerable and elderly.
