Story

Association of Ukrainians in Great Britain (AUGB) [Союз Українців у Великій Британії] – the largest Ukrainian community organisation in the United Kingdom, whose members include ethnic Ukrainians and friends of Ukraine living in the UK. The AUGB was established in 1947 and operates 25 branches. We need your help to get the newest 26th Branch “AUGB Sheffield” off the ground.

Since 7th of April 2022, we are running weekly Saturday Ukrainian Club which is a place to welcome new Ukrainian arrivals in their native language, to help them meet other people in similar situation and to foster networking with the very supportive community formed by mainly non-Ukrainians living in Sheffield and beyond.

About the charity

We provide nutritious food boxes with veg and fruit for people living in financial and social hardship as a result of the virus. People are struggling because they have lost their jobs, do not receive free school meals or simply cannot get to the shops because they are isolating or caring.
