Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On 21st April, a week prior to our annual Roses games against Lancaster, UYHC will be collectively running the distance from York to Lancaster and back (228 miles) in one night. Rather than literally running from York to Lancaster, the run will take place virtually on campus. Starting at 6:30pm, club members will take it in turns to run as many miles as they can throughout the night, collectively adding up and hopefully far surpassing the aim of 228 miles.

Mental Health is one of the main health issues in the UK today, and particularly in Universites with at least one in four students suffering from mental health problems. Therefore, we have decided to raise money for a cause particularly close to our hearts in York Mind, a local charity that provides invaluable high quality support for sufferers of mental health problems in the York area.
