Thank you for visiting our sponsorship page. We have chosen this charity to support our Chairlady, Tia's beautiful nephew. In February 2019, Tia's family welcomed Parker Grey into the world. Not long after, Parker was admitted to hospitals for tests and was later diagnosed with Hirschsprung's Disease. This is a congenital condition as a result of missing nerve cells in the muscles of the baby's colon. He was admitted to Kings College Hospital in May to have restorative surgery on his colon. Luckily, Parker was diagnosed in time, and although there may be complications throughout his life, he is able to be a healthy, and happy baby boy.
Action Medical Research is the leading UK-wide charity saving and changing children’s lives through medical research. For 65 years we’ve helped pioneer ways to prevent disease and develop treatments benefiting millions of people. Our research has helped to beat polio in the UK, develop ultrasound, fight meningitis and prevent stillbirths. But we urgently need to develop more new treatments and cures for sick babies and children and we can’t do it without you.
Join our fight for little lives, to help children like Parker.
