In memory of Rusty Dog Bilson

RSPCA Woodside Animal Centre rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes hundreds of neglected and abandoned animals each year. We receive no funding from the government or the central RSPCA, relying on the generous support of the public and local businesses to keep the centre running

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I adopted Rusty dog in summer 2000 form the local RSPCA branch.  He has been a great companion, and converted some non dog lovers into definite dog people along the way.  He survived nearly 10 operations for a deformed foot and various aggressive forms of cancer, and was an inspiration to many who met him.

I’d love to see more owners have a second chance to house a fantastic pet like Rusty, and allow the cats and dogs at RSPCA the pick of new owners that they deserve.  Sadly the local Brach receives no national funding or lottery funding, yet needs to raise £15,00 0 a week to keep going.

I am hoping to rise £150– ten pounds for every year of Rusty’s life.
