So.....the story....

Well both me and my brother Ali, went to an event at the end of January organised by Orphans in Need. The event alhamdulilah was very beneficial. 

The organiser at the end discussed Orphans in Need and the work they do. He told us that there are currently over 700 orphan sponsors that could no longer provide the sponsorship to these children, due to their own circumstances and financial situation. 

This really touched a nerve, especially because of the fact that these children who were beginning to have hope in their lives and may have been making amazing changes to better their lives, no longer had the means to continue doing this.  

Because of this, me and my brother agreed to pledge to raise £1,080, which will cover sponsorship for three children, being the £30 monthly sponsorship for 12 months In Sha Allah. 

The next hurdle being, how are we going to raise the money. While discussing this with my brother in law, we agreed that it would be a great idea to do the Snowden Trek. So my amazing brother in law Shazad Cader (Zodd) has jumped on board to also do the Trek, so that we can reach this target together!

Helping to make a better life for children, that are in dire situations due to no fault of their own, is very dear to all our hearts and I pray to Allah that you have it in your hearts to make a donation even if it is small, to help us reach our target. Every little that we do makes the world a little better.

Sahl ibn Sa’d reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The one who cares for an orphan and myself will be together in Paradise like this,” and he held his two fingers together to illustrate.

May Allah make us of those that together with the prophet in paradise In Sha Allah and ameen. 

Another reason for you to make the donation is for you let it be a source of sadaqa jariyah, which will In Sha Allah benefit you even after you have left this world. Due to any good that they attain you will be rewarded In Sha Allah.
