V3K Ultra is in its fourth year and this year we are hoping to raise money for the very animals at Freshfields 

Freshfields animal rescue is a non profit making charity caring for abandoned, abused and unwanted animals. They act as a temporary refuge and sanctuary for an endless cycle of animals in need of help. Their aim is for the misery to stop once they reach them, with each animal receiving the food, medication, socialisation and the love she/he needs. Their ultimate objective is to find the right new home & family for each of their charges as quickly as possible!

This year V3K Ultra will be asking their followers to donate to help the animals at Freshfields and aim to also raise money through an "After Party Festival" at Rowen Memorial Hall, Rowen, LL32 8UH on 13th June from 2pm onwards

Please dig deep for the animals and if you're free help to celebrate with us on 13th June with great vegan food, great music and to welcome the great athletes who will have completed such an awesome race.

Our races 

V3K Ultra  - THE classic route of the Welsh 3,000s, a "must do once in a lifetime route" that can becomes a habit, open to experienced fell runners who are confident on a knife-edged arête, who have the stamina to keep going for approx 55k with over 4,000m of ascent over Wales’ highest, toughest terrain, through bogs, down scree, up scrambling hillsides.

Vegan Carneddau Half Marathon - For the runner who doesnt like knife edged arêtes, and wants to limit the amount of technical ground 13.1 miles, 1,100m of ascent.

You have to be an experienced runner to take part in our races but you dont need experience to help the animals.
