Story
Hi All,
This year me and some quality friends are doing a range of challenges to raise money for the fantastic Scottish international development charity SCIAF. Please help by making a donation if you can.
So far, I've done the Loch Katrine Half Marathon and Stirling Marathon solo. This weekend I'll be doing the Bawbag Bi (duathlon) with pals Paul and Simon. It's a 16 mile hill run from Callander to Aberfoyle over the Menteith Hills, and then a 16 mile return cycle via the steep Dukes Pass and picturesque Loch Venachar.
At the end of June (28th/30th) the Director of SCIAF, Alistair Dutton, has kindly agreed to join me in taking on the biggest challenge of the year - doing the 96-mile West Highland Way, in 48 hours!
These various challenges are all to raise money for SCIAF. Having travelled to many of the troubled places where the charity works, I know it brings relief, life-saving and smart, intelligent help to people in really difficult situations.
SCIAF can do an enormous amount of good work in some of the
poorest countries in the world with the money raised so I’d really appreciate your support. And as you can imagine from the above, I’ll certainly do my bit so you’ll know that I’ve earned your generosity.
Please give what you can...
If you own a company or are a member of a group, please consider having a fundraiser...
If you’d like me to come and talk about SCIAF’s amazing
work, just let me know… I'd be only to happy to oblige.
Many thanks,
Val
