Hello everyone! My name is Valeri Hernandez Godinez and I am a first year student at Miami University-Oxford as well as a Esperanza Scholarship recipient. Esperanza Inc, is an organization located in Cleveland, Ohio focused on providing support to Hispanic families in northeast Ohio. Esperanza, Inc doesn't just provide families with scholarships but also with other programs such as tutoring and mentoring. It's such a beautiful thing to have support behind me as I put myself out there into the world. I cannot think of a better way to give back than to help another student get the support I have through the Esperanza Scholarship.
