I've worked at Harbor for over 3 years. I have seen so many amazing things happen! Harbor has changed so much over the years, and only continues to get better. By supporting Harbor, we can continue to grow, and change more lives in the process! 

UPDATE: Pigeon has unfortunately passed away peacefully in her sleep. I am so heartbroken by her passing, but glad thay she got to spend her last few weeks loved. She was given so much more of a chance than some other shelters are able to provide,  thanks to wonderful donors like you! Pictured above is a before and after of my current foster kitten, Pigeon. We believe this poor girl was hit by a car. She came in on 11/27, brought in by Ottawa County animal control. Her lip had a open cut that looked to be infected. Pigeon would barely use one of her front legs, and her back legs. In the 2 weeks since I have had her, she has made amazing strides! She came in skinny at only 1.9lbs, and is now 3lbs! Her cut is healing great, and she is able to walk more! She has come so far, but still has more healing to do! With your support, Harbor can continue to help animals like Pigeon!

At Harbor we are driven by the love we have for these animals, and we will not give up on them. Our team experiences heartbreak, joy, relief and excitement all at the same time, over and over again.
