Two years ago Paul and I managed to raise £537 by cycling round all 7 churches in our benefice to raise much needed funds for maintenance and restoration - half the money raised goes to the Suffolk Historic Churches Trust and half comes to my own church, St Mary's Lidgate. 

I am hoping that you will sponsor me again this year whether out of sympathy that I will be doing it alone, as Paul's recent stay in the West Suffolk Hospital means he is giving it a miss this year, or that you have already heard about the leak in the lead roof of our tower, so you know how much we need your help!
