Thanks for visiting and supporting me in my running of 26 short miles in the London Marathon this year. I can't do this on my own and need your help, to raise awareness for the charity, Sense...and a little bit of dosh.
Its a privilege to be running for Sense and I would love to do right by them with a healthy donation of at least £1500. They work with all ages but spend a great portion of their resources supporting families and children affected by deafness, blindness, sensory impairments or more complex needs, to live an independent life. Their website link is below if you have time to learn a little more about them, alternatively if you have any clothes that you no longer wear, google your nearest Sense and drop those off for them, to sell on your behalf.
If you can contribute, the folks at Sense will appreciate it very much, no matter how small the donation, it is a lovely gesture and it all goes toward helping those who can use it most.
I am running in memory of my old Gam, if you haven't experienced how such disabilities affect people, especially in later life, it isn't too hard to imagine how scary losing one or more senses could be.
Thank you for visiting, the person who donates the most will receive a special treat from me...
My heart felt thanks, Vanluke x
