Story
Alec Jones and Matthew Lewis both players in the team founded the Velindre Untouchables originally as a social team over the summer to spend time with the lads, however Alec's mum was diagnosed with breast cancer and both players decided to raise money for Velindre whilst mum was going through treatment. All the players in the squad have either personally felt the tragic circumstances of cancer or feel that they need to support the cause whilst doing what the love, play rugby!
The team now in it's first year of infancy, will have a focus this season on raising awareness for the team and to raise as much money as they can during the summer for Velindre.
These talented players, young men and ladies range from the ages of 16 upwards, all giving their time freely to support Velindre. We cannot thank them enough for their support.
