100 mile Velo for Beaumond House in memory of Graham Scotney

Velo Birmingham & Midlands 2019 · 12 May 2019 ·
Claire Allen, Mark Scotney, Neil Townshend and Ian Townshend thank you for all of your support!
On 12 May 2019 we are doing the 100 mile Birmingham Velo because...
Our dad, brother in law and uncle, Graham Scotney, sadly died in February 2017 following the diagnosis of a cancerous brain tumour.
It is difficult to put into words the consequences of a loved one living with, and dying from, a brain tumour. It was horrific; for Graham and his loved ones.
Incredibly, with the help of Beaumond House, through the pain and suffering Graham continued to wear a beautiful smile on his face.
Beaumond House’s staff were incredible. They provided support and assistance to Graham and loved ones throughout; and, most importantly, a loving, happy and caring place for Graham to spend the final few days of his life.
