The Family Survival Trust works to prevent, and to provide information on coercive control, cultic behaviour and manipulation. We support those affected by groups that use these techniques. We educate about the risks these groups pose and seek appropriate controls on these groups’ activities.

Story

This is my first kiltwalk since COVID, I'm in way worse shape than any previous attempt and I am recovering from a recently injured knee but decided what the hey, let's go for it and raise some funds along the way ..  I'll post regular photo updates of my progress (probably with a hangover as I'm at a wedding the night before) and appreciate any amount you can donate. Even if you can't donate, please share the page and help me with my fundraising efforts...

The Family Survival Trust offers vital help and support to survivors of cults and high control coercive groups as well as others affected by them. I was personally raised in a horrific cult known as 'The Children of God' (currently still operating as 'The Family International'). I escaped at 15 years old but my recovery journey has lasted a lifetime and is still ongoing. Please have a look at my public Facebook page for details of the media I have done and other projects I have been involved in to try to raise awareness of cults and seek justice.

There are very few resources available for people escaping environments like this but this charity is one such resource so please support them and the incredible work they do!

Thanks in advance for donating and sharing... Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and secure. Your details are safe  - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity making it the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
