With the devastating news that the Taliban has captured Afghanistan’s capital, Kabul, I can’t imagine the fear, horror and disappointment of the majority of Afghans. However, for women and girls, the consequences of life under Taliban rule are unthinkable, as they are stripped of all rights and essentially forced into slavery. 

To raise money for those in desperate need, I am running 50 miles to help raise money for WAW - Women for Afghan Women. This brilliant charity supports Afghan women and is currently working tirelessly to get women’s rights activities to safety.
