Story

Hello everyone, thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!

On 22nd April 2018, I will be running the London Marathon for Leonard Cheshire Disability - a cause very close to my heart and a cause I have worked for since March this year.

Leonard Cheshire Disability works with disabled people in the UK and all over the world to support them on their journeys to independence; whether that's supporting people into employment, helping them access assistive technology or giving people the confidence to get involved in their local community.

The fact I am running the London Marathon may come as a surprise to many people but this has been on the bucket list since my amazing Dad, David, ran his first marathon back in 1999. I was inspired to run it with him and so in 2018, we're making it happen and we're doing it together.

It really would mean the world to me if you were able to support me with this huge challenge - whether that's donating money to my fundriaisng page, giving Leonard Cheshire a follow on twitter, nagging me to go on a training run or standing on the side-lines on the day itself.

Dad will be raising money for Whizz-Kidz, another fantastic cause working with disabled people across the UK, so if you're feeling generous - please take a look at his fundraising page here - https://whizz-kidz-london-marathon18.everydayhero.com/uk/david-3

Thank you all for your support!
