I will be running 100 miles in August to prepare for Scottish Half I would like to participate in this September. 

Did you know?
That in 2017-2018 there were 2,136 rapes and 119 attempted rapes reported to the police in Scotland together with many other sexual offences?
That it takes years to go from reporting to trial?
That conviction rates are shocking?
That these organisations literally save people's lives?

So...

I am running 
for the girl who cried herself to sleep that night
and many more since
for the girl who is scared to live her life
because making decisions is the biggest pain
for the girl who doesn't know who she is
for the girl who cannot take any more of that shit 

for the girl who stood up and never looked back 
for the girl who still fights the fight with an unbelievable strength 
for the girl who left her career to fighting in that war
against him and them all 
for injustice to not have a place in this world
for the girl who kills the inner demons 
with that goddamn determination sword 

and if you are that girl you need to know
nothing that happened was your fault 
and for that little girl hiding deep in your soul 
all I am gonna say is
please let her grow
