This summer, I will be running the British 10k and I thought that apart from being a good incentive to actually do some more running again, it would be a good opportunity to raise some money for a worthy cause.  

I have chosen the Cystic Fibrosis Trust as, rightly or not, I have always felt that Cystic Fibrosis does not attract the attention it deserves when it comes to fundraising.  It is a less widely spread disease than others, but it can significantly reduce the quality of life of those who are affected by it.  

The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is dedicated to research for finding a cure for this genetic disease, as well as relieving its symptoms.  Thanks to people like them, the life expectancy of those with CF has increased from less than 5 to over 35 years.  The Trust relies on the community for over half of its income so any contribution you can make will be gratefully received.
