We provide support to the veterinary community

Story

Paul Horwood, Danny Chambers and Adrian Nelson-Pratt are all trustees of the charity Vetlife which supports the mental health of the UK veterinary profession.

It is well known that vets have a suicide rate of 4 times the national average. Vetlife offers a 24/7 helpline to for vets, vet nurses and vet student who need to talk to someone.

Over the last 12 months  the number of contacts to our helpline increased by over 25%.

In order to provide this service Vetlife relies on donations from supporters.

In order to raise awareness and funds, Adrian, Paul and Danny, along with a load of other vets who are up for the challenge, are braving the Welsh weather in September by trekking the 117km Snowdonia Way.

They will start on the 21st September 2021, and all vets, RVNs and vet students who are up for walking approximately 20km/day through the Welsh hills are welcome to join us for some or all of the hike.

Please donate to fund our vital work supporting the veterinary community!
