The Christie Hospital is extremely close to our hearts, they have treated, cared for and prolonged the life of Sue/Vicky's amazing warrior of a mum who battled and fought a rare type of Lukeamia for 3 years. Thanks to all the fantastic Nurses and doctors that we’re just amazing and treated Vicky’s Mum as family, they had such a special bond.
Sue taught us how to go from strength to strength and keep fighting to be able to reach our dream of running the London Marathon.
Vicky's mum sadly lost her fight but knew we were carrying on this journey for her and The Christie by running the next Virgin London Marathon 2019. She will be with us both every step of the way and we will dig deep through the aches and pains to make my beautiful mum, Sue, very proud. She will be shining down on us both. We love you millions Mum.
This is going to be a HUGE challenge for both of us physically and emotionally!
