The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Evie is very lucky to have so much hair and its time for a good chop (at the end of May beginning of June). Instead of it just getting thrown away, we have decided to donate it to The Little Princess Trust to help another little boy or girl who need it more! We have sat Evie down and explained to her what she will be doing and she was very happy to help someone else!

A little about the charity -  The Little Princess Trust provide real hair wigs, free of charge, to boys and girls across the UK and Ireland that have lost their own hair through cancer treatment.
As a result of treatment for cancer, most children will suffer hair loss as a side effect. Some boys and girls cope remarkably well but for others this can be very upsetting.

These wigs, made from donated hair, are given to the charity absolutely free of charge. In addition to these free wigs however, the charity also purchases wigs to ensure that the best and most appropriate one is given to the poorly boy or girl. The purchased wigs cost the Trust on average around £350 each.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
