We are asking all the lovely people that know us or of us to help raise some money for this fantastic local charity. On 5th May 2013 we are competing in the Mad Monk Derby 2013 Muddy Race.

Vicki has recently begun volunteering for Kemp Hospice as a Children's Support Worker which provides a service helping support children and young people within our local area who are experiencing bereavement.

Any money raised will go towards KEMP for Kids and residential breaks for the children, memory days and group events.

Now, we do like to go for a run (not exactly breaking any records as such) but we do run.  However, this Muddy Race is not just any old run.  It is an extreme 10k race through mud, open water swims (eek!), an assault course together with various, rather scary looking obstacles along the route.  

We were looking for something exciting to do this year and Kirsty thought this race would be an amazing experience and challenge for us.  Well, a challenge it will most definitely be and let's hope Kirsty is right and we can shout about what an amazing experience it was after crossing the finishing line....once up off the floor obviously!!!!

We really hope you can help us in raising some money, as much as we can, any small amount you can spare will make a difference we are sure.
