Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Albie and Arlo are our 7 and a half month old twin boys who have recently both been diagnosed with Plagiocephaly and Brachycephaly, both conditions in which impact the way the skull grows leaving their heads looking dramatically different to that of an average baby. My profile picture shows the current extend of their condition, one classed as severe, the other as moderate.

Unfortunately the NHS do not fund the treatment that the boys need in order to bring their skulls back into alignment, and we are left with needing to raise £2000 each to fully fund the helmets that they need. The boys will be in these devices for 23 hours a day for around 6 months, and will achieve a near on perfect if not perfect skull at the end of the treatment plan.

It has been very hard as parents to accept that we cannot afford the treatment that our children need, and to openly ask for support in funding their treatment is a decision that we have hugely battled with. As parents however, you will do what ever needs to be done to ensure them as happy and healthy of a childhood as possible and really appreciate far more than we could express any support given.
