Story

Due to the COVID 19 pandemic the Highland Wildlife Park has been closed since 24th of March. With no income from visitors we are relying on donations to feed all of the animals which is thousands of pounds per month. Staff from the wildlife park are getting together for a fun event. 2 teams will compete against each other in an old school sports day which will be held in the month of May. The event will comprise of 6 obstacles to be tackled in a lap around the car park which is 260 metres! Obstacles will be.an egg and spoon race, a wheelbarrow race, rope skipping, bean bag balancing race, welly wanging and the final obstacle will be a caber toss in true highland style.

Lorraine Rose will also be cycling 26 miles to help raise funds, I will be running 26 miles also. Please give whatever you can towards helping to feed some of your favourite animals at the Highland Wildlife Park. We hope to welcome you all back to the park soon.

Social distancing will be observed at all times and the event will comply with government guidelines.
