Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

There are over 70 Ei Group colleagues taking part in the Heineken Race to the Tower 2019 to raise money for The Clink, Ei Group's corporate charity partner.

The Clink's key objective is to reduce re-offending rates by training and qualifying prisoners for employment in the hospitality sector upon release.

At each of The Clink training projects, prisoners work up to 40 hours a week whilst working towards gaining their City & Guilds qualifications. Simulating a professional environment, prisoners with six to eighteen months of their sentence left serve as volunteers for the programme, going through full-time training in order to reach the required level to succeed in their respective industry.

We are extremely grateful for all donations made in support of this worthwhile charity.

We deliver City and Guilds training to prisoners in our restaurants and gardens inside prison. They gain the qualifications and a real life work experience to make them job ready. Upon release we meet them at the gate and help them find employment and accommodation which reduces re-offending rates.
