Most of you, like myself, had never heard of Erbs Palsy before Isabella arrived. At birth Isabella had no use of her left arm at all and we were unsure of whether she ever would have any use. I must say she is beyond amazing and is making brilliant progress all the time, however the reality is that it is a life long disability. 

 Because it is quite a rare conditions neither her doctor nor physiotherapist had ever seen a case of Erbs Palsy before. This is where the Erbs Palsy charity became our guardian angel. Suddenly i was able to talk to people who understood exactly what we were going through, who knew the right care paths Isabella needed and how quickly we needed to get her seen by the right people. I suddenly felt like we had gone from being on our own to having an army behind us. 

Thanks to having the information, Isabella became a patient of Leeds Hospital; a team of specialists which became the team that would perform the nerve graft she needed. 

I am doing this run to raise money for this wonderful charity that has made this year so much easier than it could have been. The charity which helped us fight for the best care for Isabella. The Charity that is still working hard across the country to training professionals. The charity that brings people together and never stops their support.
