Story

Thank you for visiting my page and reading my story, I hope you can help me raise money and reach my target.

Running has been a great way to get fit but more importantly it has been a change of lifestyle that has helped me improve my health and well being. It provides an escapism that enables me to cope with life's challenges!

Preparation for this event mainly consists of running round the streets of Stoke on Trent with a great bunch of people at Trentham running club twice a week, freezing cold and soaking wet (I love it) a weekend solo run and a weekly session at AP fitness cave training in Fenton.

I chose to run for cancer uk as more and more people I know and love are battling cancer or have lost a loved one to cancer. Living without my mum is by far the hardest challenge in my life, and I hope by raising money for cancer uk, I can help the fight against cancer and hopefully give more people more time with the people they love.

Watching people grieving can make you feel so helpless and not knowing what to do or how to help can be frustrating, raising money and running is my way of doing something. Running is the easy part, the people who are fighting cancer, and fighting the everyday battle of living without their loved ones are the inspiring ones, so please donate whatever you can to help.

Thank you xx

Rip 'nana' Irene ❤️ Karen Kidd ❤️ Aunty Jenny ❤️ These 3 angels and their families are my motivation and inspiration❤️
