Vicky passed away on Wednesday 18th November 2009 after bravely battling a life threatening condition.

She was my soulmate and wonderful mother to our two lovely children

Everyone who met Vicky was touched by her warm, gentle, caring personality and enjoyed her positive outlook and sense of humour.

She was very selfless and put a lot of time and energy into worthy causes, whether that was school activities supporting parents associations, work as a governer or supporting a range of charities. But most of all she made us a great family and better people.

This page has started as a simple way for people to donate to a charity that I know Vicky would have wanted us to support. Vicky was on dialysis for just over 18 months and felt that she was well looked after by the great team at Guy's Renal Unit so the children and I have picked this charity.

We have asked people attending the service for Vicky to donate to this charity rather than send flowers.

In the coming months I am sure that we will find some other ways to raise money to help this charity and maybe others but this seems the best place to start.
