Story

Since I was born I have been growing my hair and only ever had it trimmed.  I am told my hair is a lovely special colour all the time which I found out a posh name for it to be called " teshtion"

When I have my hair cut I will be donating it to the princess trust for another special little princess www.littleprincesses.org.uk to have hair like me as they maybe not so lucky to grow any. The hair will be turned into a wig for the children who are suffering from cancer.

The money I raise will be for Jdrf which is also for me and many others like me in the long run as they are trying hard to find a cure for type 1 diabetes.  I have had this since I was 6 years old.  I have minimum of 4 injection a day and extra when need, along with what seems hundreds of finger prick tests to check my blood sugar levels, hospital appointments, check ups and many other things including all my food is needing to be weighted out and monitored for me to eat.

My family and school really help me Everyday to keep safe and try to keep my diabetes under control.  My friends also are beginning to help and take interest in my condition which really makes me feel special.  I love doing many things and enjoy lots of thing but dislike all the extra stuff I have to do unlike others who don't have type 1.

I put up with it and deal with it as its the only thing I can do but to find a cure for my life long condition would be amazing, a few pennies to the pot to help find one and I and many others will be truly greatful.

Thanks to all from me Shyloe - who is going to and is --- full on living life to the full as much as possible and determined not to let type 1 diabetes get in the way.
