Railway Children has a vision of a world in which no child is lost to the streets. Across the UK, India and Tanzania, our networks provide an opportunity for us to reach children who are alone and vulnerable before they come to serious harm. Together, we’re determined we’ll leave no child behind.

Story

Inspired by the heartbreaking, Oscar-nominated film 'Lion' I wanted to raise money that would help some of India's 11 million homeless children. 'Lion' tells the true story of a 5-year old boy, Saroo, who becomes separated from his family and is lost and alone on the streets of India. The Railway Children charity is the official charity of the Lion movie.

With my friends and fellow fundraisers at UCLan I aim to raise £500, through a 3-day book and cake sale and your kind donations.

Please support us by giving any amount you can, no amount is too small. This charity is already helping vulnerable children as young as 4 who live alone on the streets of India and West Africa, as well as homeless children and young people here in the UK

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you so, so much for your help.
