Our Story

In December 2020, our beautiful Baby Dinosaur left this world and joined the Angels above us. We held a precious little life for 7 incredible weeks but our Baby Dinosaur's soul was not yet ready for this world. So now we look to the skies to see the brightest star in the sky as our Baby Dinosaur lets us know that they are there, watching over us always. In June 2021, we had our second miscarriage. This was our Baby Butterfly.

1 in 4 pregnancies end in loss yet we avoid those conversations about miscarriage, creating a sense of invalid grief and unnecessary shame. Miscarriage doesn't care what religion, what class or what creed you are. Miscarriage is loss and grief that builds at the back of your throat and demands to be felt. Miscarriage is a love so intense, so deep within you, but with no place to go. Any type of miscarriage is hard because it is the loss of a life. 

So for our Baby Dinosaur & Baby Butterfly, we are breaking the silence with the incredible help of Tommy's. This incredible charity is pioneering research to identify why pregnancy goes wrong, finding ways to prevent complications and supporting couples through loss.

Finding this charity has allowed us to share our story, to work towards breaking the silence, especially in the Asian community and to show couples that they are not alone. Because helping one person may not change the whole world, but it could change the world for the couples that may feel alone. 

To our beautiful shining light, our Baby Dinosaur, you taught us things that no one else could and although parenthood ended before it had the chance to begin for us, we thank you for showing us a love so pure and for giving us the opportunity to help the world. To our Baby Butterfly, you reminded us that transformations are born through loss. You reminded us that through the struggle & darkness, something beautiful is on the way. 

Daddy & Mummy will love you both forever, always and not a day less
