As many of you know, my beautiful boy, Zach, passed away in December, so in his memory I am running the Great South Run for Portsmouth Down Syndrome Association.

Zach was a true blessing in our lives, and when he passed our lives were shattered. He faced difficult times in his short life, having to go through a number of operations, but he was always happy, loving and everyone who met him was instantly under his spell. Having Down Syndrome made him this way, and he turned it into his superpower. Using his superpower, he taught us to make the most of every day, no matter what it throws at you. And this is what Portsmouth Down Syndrome Association does too.

PDSA helps people with Down Syndrome lead full and happy lives. They would have helped Zach throughout his life, as well as hundreds of other wonderful people, so supporting them makes a real difference.

I appreciate any donation that you can make to encourage me around the 10 mile course, whether big or small. But please bear in mind that the last time I ran this far was in the 90's, so I need lots of encouragement. The more you donate, the more encouraged I'll be!
