Story
Laurence, James and myself are riding from London to Brighton Off Road to raise money for the British Heart Foundation (BHF).
The sad fact is that coronary heart disease is still the UK's single biggest killer. By raising money for the BHF we hope to help put this right by supporting the excellent advice, research and inspiration that they provide.
Laurence's original suggestion to ride 75miles off road seemed incredibly daunting. I have never attempted a ride of more than 50 miles before (and even that was 25 years ago!). However, as I turned 40 last year and my transplanted kidney (from my mother) reached 60 years old I thought it appropriate to rise to this challenge and improve my health and fitness but also raise as much money as possible for a worthwhile cause.
So please, have a heart, and help support the BHF by donating now.
