Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I sadly lost my beautiful wife Joan Callaghan to lung cancer on the 16/12/2017. She had been suffering from Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia (CML) for the last 3 years, unfortunately she developed lung cancer which was nothing to do with the CML. The time from her diagnosis to her death was as painless as you could hope for. She was always very brave throughout her illness and rarely complained. I love her and miss her terribly. I started training in January initially to cope with the grief. But as time as gone on i decided to set a goal to do something in her memory, this 10k was one of the first things to come up.
