After a short illness our dad lost his battle with cancer. In way to celebrate his life we have decided to raise money for a charity he supported while he was alive. The Samaritans both in England and Ireland are working to make sure fewer people die by suicide. Mental Health and suicide prevention is something that was very close to our Dads heart and he volunteered on the phones at the Kilkenny branch of the Samaritans in Ireland assisting people at their time they most needed someone to listen. His patience and compassion led him on to complete a course focused on suicided prevention and counselling, ensuring he could help those who needed it.
