We are over halfway, I've done 40km myself but the middle aged monster Stevie George has done a massive 160km on his bike making me an amateur! Please, please if you have even a quid to spare donate it to this great cause :-) xx

We are using stationary gym equipment including rowing machines, X trainers, treadmills and bikes to cover the 1309km distance between John O'Groats and Lands End.   We aim to do this within 12 hours, the faster the better!

We are undertaking this task to raise money for the PC Nicola Hughes Memorial Fund, this is a charity that was established by Bryn Hughes the father of Nicola.   Nicola and her colleague were tragically murdered in September 2012 whilst on duty responding to a bogus burglary call.   The fund was set up to support the families of any person who loses their life as a result of criminal activity.  Sadly this is something that any one of us may need at any time, raising awareness for this fund is something that we at Virgin Media are proud to help with.
