In 2013, my dentist (brilliant dentist and in my case a life saver) discovered a growth on my tongue.  The diagnosis was  of cancer.  Thanks to his action and to the NHS, the cancer was removed and I have now passed the 5 year mark with no recurrence.  ( I do still cross my fingers though.) I know how important that early diagnosis was for me and how lifesaving it can be for others which is why I am again  walking in support of the work of the Mouth Cancer Foundation. I will be celebrating my 70th birthday that day-- what better way to mark it than by raising funds so that others can be as fortunate as I have been?  Please consider joining in my celebration by making a donation.
