When my friend Sus suggested cycling 120 kilometres to raise money for Great Ormond St I thought she was crazy.... And now here we are! 

I have young children and it’s a particularly uncomfortable thought to imagine any child suffering. Great Ormond St Hospital provides a service which is world class and we are lucky to have such a facility in the UK. Fundraising is such an important part of what is needed to continue the amazing work.

It is my 40th birthday in May, I would be really touched if rather than buying me a gift if you could sponsor me. I’ve got a lot of money to raise…. and then a lot of cycling to do.

I’m not going to lie, the bike ride is in Ibiza which will make for a lot of fun in the process of fund raising. I will be cycling with my sister Jen, and great friends Jenny and Sus.

I would like to assure you that I will be paying for the cost of the trip – so sponsorship that I raise will be for the Charity.
