The challenge will take us through the rolling English countryside and the breathtaking panorama of Northern France. The challenge finishes at one of the world's most iconic structures, the 324 metre-high Eiffel Tower.

Day 1 - London to Portsmouth

Starting from a central point in London, we will begin the day's 87 mile cycle to Portsmouth. After leaving the hustle and bustle of London we will cycle across the North Downs where we will encounter out first hills on this challenge. Our lunch stop today will be near the town of Haslemere. We continue our journey across the beautiful but very hilly South Downs before reaching the city of Portsmouth, which signals the end of our first day's cycling.

We will have the opportunity to freshen up prior to a well-earned dinner before boarding our overnight ferry to Caen, France.

Day 2 - Caen to Evreux

Docking around 7am, we will then head back onto the saddle for an 84 miles, stunning day of cycling. Leaving Caen behind us, we will cycle towards Rouen before heading onto the quieter roads in the direction of Evereux Cycling through rolling French hills and quaint villages we will reach our lunch stop just north of Liseaux.

Following lunch, we press on towards Evreux for our overnight stop where we can enjoy dinner and explore this stunning area of Normandy.

Day 3 - Evreux to Paris

Our final day in the saddle takes us east towards our goal of reaching te capital, Paris. This part of today's 69 mile cycle will take us through some charming and traditional French towns and villages. Lunch stop for the day will be near Septeuil and then one last push in the saddle as we head towards the finish line.

On reaching Paris we will re-group with all others taking part in the challenge and cycle up the Champs-Elysee, around the Arc de Triomphe towards the Eiffel Tower and the finishing line for a well deserved toast to our achievement.

Day 4 - Paris to London

After breakfast we will head to Gare du Nord where we will catch the Eurostar back to St Pancras.
