Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. As company members of Welsh National Opera, we would usually be preparing for our Autumn tour at this time of year. Unfortunately, this isn't possible at the moment due to the coronavirus pandemic, so we have decided to set ourselves the challenge to run, walk, cycle and swim the distance that we would usually travel on tour, virtually "visiting" five cities and covering 2052km in the UK, plus an additional 14,672km to represent the round trip that we should have been making to Dubai for the 2020 World Expo! We are doing this to support our freelance colleagues through the charity Help Musicians UK, and to raise awareness of the loss of work that our company and many other arts organisations are facing at this difficult time.
