The funds raised by WRA Scotland Branch will help refurbish Wensleydale Railway's MK2 bar car (shown in the photo).  The coach needs some new flooring and other internal work.  A toilet will be converted into a ‘cellar’ for the storage of beer kegs with suitable pipework installed to the bar. When complete, the finished coach will provide a significantly enhanced facility for the benefit of customers.

WRA Scotland is the Scottish Branch of the Wensleydale Railway Association (Trust) Ltd.  

WRA(T) supports the operation of the Wensleydale Railway which operates a route of around 22 miles in the Yorkshire Dales using historic rolling stock.   The railway is a major tourist attraction and a valuable transport link in this rural area.  It is looking at options to expand further over the next few years.
