Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

This is a temporary Taffy Takeover, those that know me, know that I am not built to run a mile, let alone 26.2 of them, but in October last year I foolishly signed up to run the London Marathon to support Nikki with her training, fast forward a few months, she's no longer able to run so I am left to do this crazy stunt alone, cheers love!! Knowing people have gone out of the way to sponsor me when help me get around the course when things get tough, so if you can spare a couple of £s please click on the link just there ------>

Weight Watchers have pledged to raise £50,000 for Diabetes UK this year & Weight Watchers groups in Essex & Kent would LOVE to be the biggest fundraisers.

The reason why Weight Watchers and Diabetes UK is such a great partnership is because we know for every 2lb (1kg) you loose it can reduce your risk of Type 2 Diabetes by 15%

***** Area 49 are doing many things to achieve their fundraising target including, organising walks, coffee mornings, fashion shows and one of our Leaders & her husband even signed up to run the London Marathon for Diabetes UK, Unfortunatley Nikki got injured but her husband Taffy is still running on our behalf *****
