After losing my Mum to Lymphoma Cancer last November I decided to Run the Great Midland Fun Run with my Brother in Law Pete. I'll need to drag my 17 stone body around an eight and a half mile course which won't be easy. The money is going to Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research so please give to a good cause and smile at the thought of me actually doing some exercise. Thank you.

 

Post Race: Update

It was a very warm and humid day for the run and it started just before midday which didn't help. I completed the run in 1 hour and 15 minutes which I was pretty happy with. I would like to thank everyone who has sponsored me and those who are yet to do so! The money will go towards helping people with blood cancers. I'd also like to thank my brother in law Pete who despite getting injured and missing a large portion of his training completed the run and also raised money for charity.
