Organise Your Own Memory Walk 2015 · 31 October 2015 ·

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Thank you for supporting the team to take part in Alzheimer's Society's Memory Walk this year. The aim is to have at least 50 people walking on the 5th September 2015 with the aim of raising £5000. The reason for organising the walk is because so many, including my dad, live with dementia. To conquer dementia more research is needed now, so that ways can be found to prevent it, to cure it, to slow  its progress when it develops, as well as finding better ways of caring for those who have dementia. Your support, which is greatly appreciated, means all these goals will be realised sooner. Thank you.
