Story

Last month, more than 50 Wigan Athletic fans walked the 46 miles from Morecambe FC to the DW Stadium for the League One fixture between the two clubs.

The walk was in support of Joseph's Goal, with every single penny going towards groundbreaking medical research towards a cure for the rare genetic disorder NKH.

This weekend, the US-branch of the Latics family will be embarking on a walk of their own, all the way from Battery Park in Manhattan to Banter Brooklyn, before Wigan Athletic's League One fixture against Plymouth Argyle.

The Latics can clinch promotion and win promotion back to the Championship this weekend, and we aim to make it a double reason to celebrate by raising as much money as possible for Joseph's Goal!
